Our history

Initiated by local resident Mark Roberts in 2012, Fallowfield Secret Garden has grown from an empty acre and a half plot of disused land into a welcoming community garden with vegetable beds, polytunnel, reciprocal wooden round house, compost toilet, fruit orchard, mud kitchen, children's sand pit and wildlife pond. Supported by One Manchester and Manchester City Council Neighbourhood Investment Fund the garden is run by a core group of volunteers who enable it to continue to be an inclusive community space.
